Since starting her career at Shapers in 1998, Michelle, our salon director, has gone full circle. She qualified in 2001 after gaining her level 2 and 3 in hairdressing, she has worked at several salons since then, before purchasing Shapers with her husband and business partner, from her original employer in 2014. She returned here in 2019 when the business was merged with another local salon and rebranded as Frame.

She has over 20 years’ experience using hair extensions, most recently gaining the Racoon International Hair in Recovery qualification, enabling her to help those who have lost hair due to medical reasons.

Never one for sitting still, during lockdown Michelle embarked on her toughest task to date, training with The Trichological Society, to attain her diploma in Trichology (the science of Human Scalp & Hair in Health, Disease and Distress). This course, set at the highest academic level currently available world-wide, will enable her to use the post-nominal letters LTTS.

Carly is one of our Artistic Designers, a dedicated hairdresser with 15 years’ experience. Carly specialises in creative cutting and colouring, providing her expertise knowledge she ensures everyone has a great hair day!

Sue is one of our front of house ladies, with her previous experience in salon ownership, she knows exactly how to keep things running smoothly on the shop floor.

From a young age I have had a great interest in beauty therapy and its ability to promote a positive enhancement within my clients. My interest drew me to start my career within beauty therapy and my education in college in order to reach this goal. I’m happy to join the team at Frame Hair and Beauty as I’m now eager to use my knowledge to deliver relaxing and professional treatment to the salon. I’m looking forward to meeting all the new and old clients 🙂
